With the development of technology rapidly, wearable equipment has attracted eyeballs in the market and won substantial orders in a short period. Bracelet considered one of the most highly acceptable smart ornaments in the wearable equipment market.
To distinguish from the millions of bracelets or to survey among the markets, our “Together” creates a new communication way to maintain a further close relationship in separate locations between each other.
“Together” is a project designed for couples, who are living apart temporarily. It combines the bracelet and App, which follows iOS 7 design criterion. Bracelet has only two sizes; one is 10mm wide, and another is 25mm wide. To fit different user’s wrists, we choose the elastic material for the bracelet.

Ask Really Why
How to organize a proper schedule during the project is one of the biggest problems in our 6-hour time difference team. Is it also a barrier in the long-distance relationship? With this question in the core, we interviewed 25 people who are now suffering in the geographical separation relationship.
The majority of the interviewees mentioned that selfish frictions with partners occurred would damage their intimate relations further. On the other hand, lacking communication will also harm the connectedness in the relationship.
During the free time apart from work and study, this device can enhance the feeling of presence, which could emotionally narrow down the geographical distance. We use the advantage of the hardware part to detect the heartbeat of users and animate the heartbeat rate in both the App and the surface of the bracelet.
With "Together" App user can set free time and inform the partner of his or her setting in the way of automatically synchronizing both the partner's app and the bracelet. Bracelet will be vibrated to notify privately.
Additionally, the user could use "Together" to send heart-warming mind messages. For instance, it will turn cold tomorrow and put some thick clothes. "Together" offers default settings like "putting on thick clothes tomorrow" etc. The user could set alert time to remind the other don't forget to take pills.
"Together" is an efficient App for users to meet their different and unique purpose, which is quiet privacy. We choose traditional Chinese red with slightly gradient as the dominant hue to express love. The logo is a sign for two embracing people, and with the shape of the heart, the user could immediately recognize it is an App designed for the couple.
